Think of your greatest fear. If it’s an object, person, or place, make it sound loveable. If it’s some kind of experience, make it sound fun.
Look at it. Just sitting there, bubbling away while tears of condensation form on the glass and run down the side. Just the sight of it brings a dry scratch to the back of your throat, doesn’t it?
Mind you, that’s not the only option; it can come however you desire. Any colour, any temperature, any flavour – it not only exists, but waits patiently for you to take it. There is but one constant, and that’s the greatest part of all.
Because once you take it – once you let it trickle through your lips – you can do anything; you can be anything. The petty fears of life simply fade away, leaving only you – standing centre-stage amidst a world that suddenly seems that much brighter than before, that much more in focus.
Where to apply this newfound clarity? Everywhere! Anything that made you feel while you were caged – do all that and more, all the while sailing between the clouds high above. Dance with anyone and everyone, climb every mountain, cross every ocean; there is nothing you shouldn’t do, and you can be allowed to understand that with just one drink.
So now only one question remains. This here – this tall glass of sweet bubbles – is my liberation.
Where’s yours?
