@Chronod1le: sometimes everything is horrible but then the ice cream has little palm trees on it and it seems like maybe everything will be ok in the end

 Today was awful,
 so I ate of the icecream
 with little palm trees
  
 2.
 I am not a fan.
 Of pineapple, that is, but…
 well… there are palm trees?

 Ice-cream, it’s ice-cream!
 It’s all better with ice-cream!
 That’s the hope at least.

 It was cold, the cream;
 some might even claim icy.
 Interesting concept.

 So very cold, it was.
 Some pink, some green and yellow.
 And delicious, too.

 This is a haiku.
 It feels bizarre in English,
 though that’s not a shock.
